This is not a typical review but rather a form of summary enriched with my thoughts. I treat this article as a note after reading the book in question to which I will be able to return and remind myself of selected issues. I analyze the content contained in the book as it occurs. It happens that some topics are discussed but their full development can be found a little later in the article. Why is “Deep Work” a good book for a programmer Since you're on a developer blog it's worth discussing how the item you're discussing benefits a developer.

There is more time for yourself family hobbies passions or anything else. Even if you want to waste your free time scrolling Facebook you can do it without notifications from a teammate pinging for a code review that was supposed to be done an hour ago.
